2008 Donruss Elite Extra Edition is a baseball card set manufactured and distributed by Donruss Playoff Leaf. It was the second set produced by Donruss after acquiring the NCAA collegiate license. The main thrust of the set is prospects and draft picks, since they did not have a contract with MLB or MLBPA. The set did include some athletes from other sports and not just baseball. The main star included was Derrick Rose.
