A gyro-grappler was a device designed to aid in climbing walls or mountains. Essentially a grappling hook equipped with microthrusters, the gyro-grappler allowed for a user to throw a grappling hook normally by hand, and then have the near-silent thrusters boost the hook and any attached cable to a target up to a distance of several hundred meters.
