The RX750 features a unique body created with mahogany sandwiched between two layers of padauk, which is said to provide a warm tone with a very round, singing upper register. The maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fretboard with dot position markers is bolted to the body with a traditional metal plate. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge, locking tuners and white Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration which are mounted to a white pickguard. The humbuckers can be coil-tapped for a single-coil like tone. The RX750 was discontinued after just one year.
