The Battle of Charajat was a confrontation between Sarothesser I and General Maurelta in late 3372. The battle was confused and resulted in heavy casualties on both sides, due to inefficient infantry 'charges' against the defending army.[citation needed] However, the eventual result was a hard won victory for Sarothesser I and the founding of High Ainon.
