Around 1919 PD, Ferrero held the rank of Captain and served as the commanding officer of the Edward Saganami-class heavy cruiser HMS Jessica Epps. The ship was assigned to Task Force Sidemore. When Jessica Epps attempted to stop a ship falsely broadcasting an Andermani transponder code in the Zoraster System, she was attacked by IANS Hellebarde. Captain Ferrero was killed along with her crew when her ship was destroyed in the following engagement. (HH10)
