Abdul Alhazred came to the Land of the Green Isles when he learned about the place from a copy of The Guidebook to the Land of the Green Isles. King Caliphim and Queen Allaria were impressed with his knowledge and made him Vizier. While being Vizier of the kingdom, he ordered his genie, Shamir Shamazel, to steal each of the islands' sacred treasures and spread rumors that each island was involved in the other island's item being stolen.
