When using, always make sure to be close to the enemy, as it is quite inaccurate at longer ranges. Also make sure to switch to a weapon with high mobility, as the mobility will slow you down. Make sure to strafe around so the bullets can't hit you as much. If you have strong armour, though, you can charge straight at them as the Minigun has low damage per bullet.
