Bart and Homer were wandering in the forest when they set a trap to catch a rabbit, involving a leaf and a tree bent almost double. The rabbit came along and started eating the leaf, only for the tree to snap back violently. This catapulted the rabbit over a hundred feet into the air and (more than likely) killed it.
