The Great Tree is a inn in the capital city of Cairhien. It is located in the older parts of the city and is frequented by wealthier peoples of higher class than that of the Foregate. It is run by Mistress Tiedra. Verin Sedai frequents the inn when she is in Cairhien and brings Rand, Mat, Perrin, Loial, Hurin and Lord Ingtar to the inn after the Horn of Valere is stolen.
