The evil Gar sorceress Shokoti was imprisoned within the House of Darkness long ago, but her servant Masque helped raise it from beneath the desert sands. When Melaktha's archaeological expedition discovered the pyramid and the apprentice archaeologist Stanlan decided to explore it, He-Man, Ram Man, and Battle Cat had to follow him inside and confront Shokoti and the Sleeping Beast to rescue him.
