Ikoma Norito was born in the Village of the Reinstated Hero, and served in the Lion Clan Army. He was grievously wounded during the War of Spirits, and retired to the Shrine of Duty as the monk Norito. In 1156 Norito was the elder elder monk who tended the Shrine of Duty. He had taken to the path of enlightenment with the vigor of a young man.
