On the first episode of the weekly show "Retaliation", The Bearded Avenger won a four man match for a 'beneficial reward' which ended up being a spot in the first SOW World Heavyweight Championship match at SOW Violent Conduct. Over the following weeks a small tournament took place to decide the second competitor in the match that ended up being The Gargantuan Apprentice. At SOW Violent Conduct, The Bearded Avenger won the SOW World Heavyweight Championship. Jamie O'Hara debuted attacking The Bearded Avenger after he won the title at Violent Conduct. Later he won contention for the belt, but he lost via DQ when The Bearded Avenger tossed a chair to Jamie and played dead.
