Doctor Mary Warren was a Federation anthropologist, who was studying the Mintakans, a civilization on the planet Mintaka III. When a power overload caused an explosion inside the holographically hidden observation port, Dr. Warren and Dr. Barron were seriously injured. A third team member, a young man named Palmer, was dazed in the blast and wandered away from the site. Mary Warren was played by the late actress Lois Hall.
