ChatX is an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network founded back in August, 1999 by Walter Carfagnini. The network was initially made up of a few servers hosted by a filipino university, and now includes servers in North America and Europe. Its aim is to provide a fun, stable and secure alternative to IRC networks such as DALnet and EFnet.
