One day, D.J. is rather upset, but no one is able to tell why. D.J. being sad ends up making the other students upset, since usually he is so happy. Eventually, on his way up the stairs, he is interrupted by Kathy laughing at him. Kathy wants to know why D.J. is upset in an attempt to make him feel more miserable, but after a few reasons, he reveals that he lost a golden watch, but afterwards Kathy tries to make him feel worse about losing the watch, though with each attempt, D.J. has a reason to think otherwise. D.J. tells Kathy he was worried a bird would choke on the watch, but after finding out that the bird would probably use the watch to build a net anyway, so he walks up the rest of the stairs with a smile on his face, as Kathy is annoyed by how D.J. remains happy, even after reveal
