The Battle of Cuallin Dhen was fought circa 300 NE between the nations of Andor and Tear. The location of this battle and what war it was fought during is not known. The battle had turned into a rout of the Andoran forces when the then-Queen Modrellein rode, reportedly alone and unarmed, into the midst of the Tairen army while carrying Andor's banner. This encouraged the Andorans to regroup and attack, and win the day. Modrellein's actions are generally held as an example of the valor expected of a Queen of Andor even in times of war.
