Vayne Novus is a boss from Final Fantasy XII. He is the second form of Vayne in the final boss battle gauntlet on board the Sky Fortress Bahamut. After being initially defeated, Vayne uses nethicite to transform into Vayne Novus and takes on the party again. After Vayne Novus is defeated, he uses the absorbed energies of Venat to fuse pieces of the Bahamut unto his body, becoming The Undying. Vayne Novus is fought alongside multiple Sephiras.
