These seals are a category of Juinjutsu that are formed with Natural Energy and placed upon a target in order to inflict beneficial or detrimental status effects upon them. The effects of these seals can vary from increasing the flow of blood in order to make grievous wounds bleed more to increasing the user's strength for a short amount of time. These seals can be modified in various ways to fit the user's will, making them very versatile. Unlike Curse Marks, these seals can also be formed in the midst of battle. They also do not require direct contact with the target, as they are capable of being transferred from tags or kunai the seals were etched into.
