Atuk is an unproduced screenplay written by Tod Carroll. It is an adaption of the 1963 novel The Incomparable Atuk by Mordecai Richler about an Inuit hunter who tries to live in New York city, and has elements of racism, materialism and pop culture. The script has been around since the 1970s and many Hollywood film studios have been interested in producing the film, but are now terrified of its very existence. Why, you ask? Because of an alleged curse that has killed all the actors who have shown interest in the lead role. Don't believe me? Here are the victims:
