Paul Parks is a former NASCAR driver from Columbus, OH. He competed in thirteen Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. Parks' initial season came during 1950, when he finished 44th in the year end points. Despite an engine problem that left Parks 20th at Langhorne, Parks quickly proved he had talent. Despite a 32nd place finish at Hamburg, Parks earned four top-seventeen finishes during the year. His best run of the year, not to mention his career, came at Dayton where Parks finished sixth. But he was also impressive with a 12th place finish in a deep field at Langhorne and a 17th in his first trip down south to North Wilkesboro.
