Using his helmet just as the Acolyte expected, Drosk switched to a tactical infra-red mod, allowing him to easily see the confused pirates. Deciding that trying to recover his blaster would be a waste of time, he charged at his enemy, quickly taking down the closest two before they knew what hit them. The other two drew their melee weapons, knowing they couldn't do a thing with their blaster with their vision impaired by the suffocating smoke. Drosk was upon one of them quickly, the pirate barely able to defend himself, but he was somehow able to block the first strike. But with his eyes blurred and watering, he could get enough of a clear enough picture to predict the follow-up attacks, and was dispatched soon after.
