Ness (Nesu) is a fictional character in the 1995 video game EarthBound. He is another boy from the suburbs of Onett, and the older brother of Tracy. He usually uses baseball bats as his primary weapon, along with the powerful PSI Rockin power. Using telepathy, Ness has the ability to understand the thoughts of animals, especially dogs, such as his pet dog King. He is the only character to suffer homesickness during battle.
