Throwback Threads is an insert set in 2001 Donruss Elite. The 45 card set features many Hall of Fame players and pieces of game used jersey. Cards 1-30 were a single player while 31-45 are two players. The following cards were packed as exchange cards with an expiration date of May 1, 2003 Ernie Banks, Lou Brock, Pedro Martinez, Ozzie Smith and Frank Thomas single swatches. The dual swatches of Brock/Smith, Banks/Sandberg, F.Robinson/Thomas and Clemens/Martinez were also packed out as exchange cards with the same deadline.
