Crikulus was the elderly shrew gatekeeper during the time of Trisscar Swordmaid. He and his friend Malbun Grimp were the second Abbeybeasts to report seeing Zassaliss, Harssacss, and Sesstra after Ruggum saw them--Crikulus and Malbun had, after an unsuccessful daytime trip where crows forced them back, decided to seek Brockhall again at night but were terrified and fled from the beasts.
