Nova Southeastern University athletic director Michael Mominey has announced the addition of swimming and diving for both men and women as an NCAA Division II athletic program at NSU. This will increase the number of NCAA varsity sports sponsored by the University to 17. The men's and women's swimming/diving programs are slated to begin NCAA competition during the 2010-11 championship season. A national search will begin immediately to identify a head coach, and the 2009-10 season will be utilized for recruiting, scheduling and athlete development.
