Roddy McMillan (23rd March, 1923 - 9th July, 1979) was a Scottish actor and writer who played Roy Johnson on Coronation Street in 1975. His other credits include Dr. Finlay's Casebook and Doomwatch and most famously, crafty skipper Para Handy the 1970s BBC Scotland sitcom The Vital Spark.
