Parsnik is a good all rounder card who can paralyze a selected monster when placed on the field, preventing the opponent from using that monster for the following turn. However if there is no monster this ability will instead go to waste. Paralyzed monsters can still deal damage if attack and their passive abilities still work. Paralysed monsters which are silenced to remove the paralysis cannot attack that turn regardless of if they could attack prior. Monsters paralysed via the ability of Patience can still be paralysed like normal to prevent the opponent from attacking for an additional turn.
