X8, formally known as X Series VIII, was the eighth tournament in the X Tournament Series. The tournament was organized and operated on 1 August 2015 by Doqtor Kirby. Originally suppose take place on 25 July, 2015, due to McLeodGaming related sites such as the McLeodGaming Forums and the servers being down delayed the tournament. The servers not being fully functional until 28 July, 2015 delayed the tournament until the 1st of August. X8 was seeded with version 2.1 of the X Scoring System.
