Imperial Service Headquarters, in Vorbarr Sultana, was the place where all high-level military planning was performed on Barrayar. The headquarters building had been burned down during Vordarian's Pretendership; a new one was built in its place soon afterwards. People who served in Ops generally worked there; they wore bronze Ops pins in front of their rank insignia.
