The casino was proposed in 2006 as gambling was gaining popularity in Adoha. Construction began in 2007, and it officially opened in 2010. It is the second most visited casino, after the Olympia. The Wild West Casino, as is implied, was given a western decor, using images and other design elements reminiscent of the wild west. They also have a number of western artifacts, both original and reproduction, including Colt pistols, boots and spurs, 19th century dress and, of course, a collection of cowboy hats. The record jackpot at the casino was L$196,000, won by a Swiss woman in 2013.
