The Man is said to be originally born into the eastern regions of Romania, and as a result of mutation of unknown means, his skin was highly damaged, looking reptilian. The rest of his past remains unknown, but he probably managed to flee from his homeland as a result of illegal immigration. He later met with a man named Morlun, who he teamed up with, and as an result, Morlun predicting the future and planned a mysterious plot. He managed to convince the Man to manipulate a series of events, which he said would lead to his leadership of the world.
