Silver Chute Spiders are dangerous arachnid Rahi that preferred to hunt in Metru Nui's Chute System. They would trap their prey, often Gukko, in its light but strong webbing, which contained a paralyzing venom. This webbing was studied by Ga-Matoran researchers, who were hoping to learn how such a thin piece of webbing could stay so strong. Following the Battle of Bara Magna and the collapse of the Great Spirit Robot, the remaining Silver Chute Spiders later left the Matoran Universe to live on Spherus Magna.
