Jon Meade Huntsman, Jr. (born March 26, 1960) was the 46th President of the United States, serving from 2021 to 2025. Before becoming President, Huntsman served as the 16th Governor of the U.S state of Utah. A Republican, he began his first four-year term as Utah's 16th Governor on January 3, 2005, and was elected to his second term by a 58-point margin on November 4, 2008. Huntsman resigned from the office of Governor on August 11, 2009, after being appointed by United States President Barack Obama as the United States Ambassador to China.
