Hoverbarges were ships that were bigger versions of the hovercraft that were used to house the new redpills that were released after the Truce. After the battle for Zion, most of the hovercraft were destroyed, making these ships necessary to use by Zion. The most notable Hoverbarge was the Terra Nova, which housed the future Masked organization (a precursor to the Cypherites) known as Gemaskeerd.
