The USS Challenger (NCC-1715) was a Constitution-class starship in service with Starfleet during the 23rd century. In 2275, the Challenger was docked at Starbase 18. She was there as a candidate for the new inversion drive technology. In the end Challenger would lose to the USS Enterprise.
