[Source] An enhanced energy cell was a modified energy cell that was used to augment and stabilize many types of vibroweapons. It smoothed the flow of power to the weapon that requires a power pack, making it less likely to produce unpredictable results. The Mark II, III, & IV versions in turn allowed for a considerable increase in the potential for energy damage.
