The Haken Gate Standoff was a brief encounter between the Haken Gate garrison of the Royal Army and the Erebonian Army's 3rd Armored Division. Affected by the Orbal Shutdown Phenomenon, the Erebonian Army decided to take matters into their own hands, as they saw that Liberl was helpless against the Aureole. Negotiations were mainly done by Princess Klaudia von Auslese, representing Liberl, and Prince Olivert (Olivier), representing the Empire. The negotiation ended with the Empire giving Liberl three days to resolve the crisis, otherwise the Empire will step in with ten more army divisions.
