Detonation is the second song from Trivium's third album The Crusade. It was released weeks earier via roadrunners website to promote the album. It was the first song that fans got to hear the new style and was recived with mixed responses some complaining that Trivium were trying to hard to sound like Metallica particuly Matts Vocals sounding to much like James Hetfield.
