Halvorc is a merchant whom Lone Wolf encounters on his journey from Ragadorn to Port Bax. Halvorc had fallen upon rough times; a misunderstanding about port taxes lost him his cargo, gold, and won him several bruises thanks to Lachlan, the Overlord of Ragadorn.
