Stephen Keeler was a human male in the early 20th century, the brother of Edith Keeler. He was a musician, but had entered the military during World War I, and was presumably killed in action. (TOS short story: "Triptych") This is contradicted by the novel Provenance of Shadows, which states Edith Keeler had no siblings.
