Edoacer Grissom is seen testing out a laser with Wurtz on a captive who is disintegrated. Roland and others witness this happen and he and his friends attack and destroy the laser. Randolph watches over his family Chloe and Edmund and they go off to collect food but are then kidnapped without his knowledge.
