Märchen Meines Lebens: A Story Just For You (貴方のための物語メルヒェン・マイネスレーベンス, Anata no Tame no MonogatariMeruhyen Mainesu Rēbensy?) is the unpolished manuscript of Hans Christian Andersen's autobiography, "The Fairy Tale of My Life." It was “the supreme commentary of all my works" according to him, who once stated that "the majority of what I write are projections of myself." It is a compilation that is a record of his way of life, the author Andersen's other self in a way, as it is a manuscript with "For an author, all works are alternate selves of that very person" as its core.
