The 7th Cadian is is a unit of Cadian Shock Troopers in service to the Imperial Guard. "The Lucky Sevens" were involved in the Battle of Tyrok Fields on Cadia itself where were they were caught unawares by the Renegade Volscani Cataphracts regiments during the 13th Black Crusade. The main body of the Cadian 7th were mercilessly cut down before they could properly form a defence in response to the sudden assault. The regiment was rescued by the actions of the Cadian 8th , under the command of Lord Castellan Ursarkar E. Creed. The 7th Cadians' Regimental Banner was carried forward by no fewer then 12 separate troopers during the course of the engagement.
