INT SANCTUARY HALLWAY [Helen awakens on the floor of a dark, dusty old Sanctuary in disarray. She pushes herself to a sitting position as a strange mist appears beside her and then disappears. Helen takes her own pulse and then gets up from the floor. She tries the light switches on the wall but no lights come on. She walks to her office and forces the door open to find the room also in shambles. Helen carefully steps over the debris on the floor, avoids the water dripping from the ceiling and finds her book was left to the elements and destroyed on her desk. She picks up the phone but is unable to get a connection. Sighing she continues looking around.
