Sugatis were large creatures native to the planet Otavon XII with characteristics similar to a Rancor or Balyeg. Their skin was resistant to lightsaber attack, but they were just barely smart enough to be influenced by Jedi mind tricks. During the early years of the New Order, the Ovoni rebels on Otavon XII found a way to attract a Sugati to cause it to attack Imperial troops via a sound emitter, a tactic they used to great effectiveness in the destruction of Tremor Base.
