The Lumbar Nook is a location in Bowser's body in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. It is known to be the smallest area in his body. During gameplay, Bowser is released from the safe that his three minions, Private Goomp, Sergeant Guy and Corporal Paraplonk tricked him into going in after Mario and Luigi defeat Junker. He then states that he has a terrible back pain and then faints. When Bowser is healed, he feels that he has become more flexible and then uses his new Spike Ball attack he had just learned from this flexibility.
