A supai, also known as an infiltrator, was a nonhuman creature from the Shadowlands who could assume the appearance and identity of humans and therefore were often used as spies. [citation needed] After the creation of the Spider Clan, the term infiltrator then could also mean that a human had infiltrated a group or clan, while the true allegiance lay elsewhere. In this regard it was similar to Shosuro Actors used by the Scorpion Clan.
