The 5th Imperial Special Operations Army (Airborne), colloquially known as the "5th Commandos", was one of the twelve Special Operations Armies of the Imperial Army Special Operations Command, Galactic Empire Special Operations Command. Headquartered at the 5th Galactic Empire Special Operations Command, Geonosis, it was comprised of approximately one hundred thousand special operators. It was named after the Zero Five Commando of the former Grand Army of the Republic, an elite clone trooper unit.
