You may be talking about the time difference of Soul Society/ World of the Living and the Dangai Precipice World. If one were to stay in the Dangai for roughly three months, only and hour would've passed in Soul Society/World of the Living. Time flows faster in the Dangai, about 2000 times faster than the outside world (SS/World of Living).
