Sonic Thrust, known in Japan as Blink Fast Sword (瞬迅剣,Shunjinken), is Lloyd's side special move in Super Smash Flash 2. Lloyd thrusts one of his swords forward. The attack deals 9%. Sonic Thrust was usually used at the end of combos in Lloyd's Linked Artes Mechanic. For example, Demon Fang could be cancelled into Sonic Thrust, to become "Demonic Thrust", which does more damage than either Sonic Thrust or Demon Fang alone. However, Lloyd can no longer do the Linked Artes so he can not perform this combo anymore. The move's downside is that it has a massive amount of ending lag. The aerial version will send Lloyd instantly in any direction, but is an ineffective recovery option due to its high endlag and short range. In Beta, it was changed to Lloyd's dash attack.
